High quality, laser cut Poplar wood veneer construction finished with a dark stain and polyurethane sealant with genuine leather accents. Hand finished details. STURDY for long term daily use, AND beautiful decor for any room that it’s in. The leather we use is dyed by hand, right here in our shop. Leather inserts aren't glued down so they can be easily removed for cleaning and conditioning to keep them looking fresh and new.

The book stand ships disassembled into two parts with the leather-connected, book holder, top piece separate from the base, and positioned flat. This is to provide better protection during shipping and allows for easy, secure, low-profile storage. The top piece fits securely into a slot at the back of the base.
